ARE THE ROBOTSBACK ON TOUR THIS YEAR?
Daft Punk rumors touring:
every time they have big news, it’s starting with this kind of mess on the Internet. Just saying…
Everything started with an event on Facebook called “Alive 2017” last year. When I subscribed to the event, I smiled and told myself: “YEAH, I WISH”.
Then, this video (which will probably be banned soon) gave birth to the rumor of a new world tour we are all hoping for…
The problem is, the source is a fake obviously. If you write down in YouTube search: DAFT PUNK LIVE 2017, you can find many songs pretending to be the new official tracks of their new album. #Deception
The problem with these cheeky robots is they always create SUSPENSE. They’ve only toured twice – once for Alive 1997, and once for Alive 2007 so we are allowed to hope for Alive 2017, right?
So 10 years since the last time Daft Punk mesmerized their fans, it is the mythical moment the robots are supposed to come back.
In the meantime, Lollapalooza‘s website had a page dedicated to the tag Daft Punk…just after a previous rumor about Lollapalooza Chile 2017 lineup with…Daft Punk and The Weeknd.
How this can happen? I have been working on websites, blogs and e-commerce since years and to me, at that level, regarding how massive is the Lollapalooza event, it can’t be a simple mistake without something BIG behind, it is a leak.
A sign? I could say ” I feel it coming”.
PLEASE MORE DAFT PUNK AND LESS THE WEEKND!
The only thing we know for sure: they will perform at The 59th Annual Awards Grammys next Sunday 12 February from 5 to 8:30 p.m in the US, so from 1 am in the U.K. (and 2 am in France). COFFEE PLEASE! http://live.grammy.com/
And in case, nothing happen this year and you are depressed, you can always

You say Daft Punk have only toured in 1997 and 2007, but I saw them without masks at Creamfields 1998 in Winchester, UK. The 1997 official tour was called the Daftendirekt tour, and I saw them on that too. Cheers, Murphy
