Where you should go out…
A few days ago, I have been to the Curzon cinema to see the movie Grace of Monaco. A lovely location with its two luxurious Royal Boxes. A bottle of Prosecco and a cool meeting with friendly girls before the movie, I was ready to see more of the Fashion style of Grace of Monaco.
The movie is rolled in a strange way, but I had deep emotions watching Nicole Kidman playing. We were totally astonished by the way she acted in her role.
I was also surprised by her speech at the Bal and curious to know how much she sacrificed her career and women’s life in Monaco. This time of the movie was so intense! I recommend it for Fashion, History (knowing stupid French politic too) and feelings.
Then, we went to a beautiful and stunning Lebanese restaurant just near the cinema called Mamounia. I immediately love the Moroccan style of the furnitures and pink lights. The smell of the fantastic food and hooka bar and friendly atmosphere (also because I was with great girls!)
Yummy, elegant… Without a booking! I think we were lucky (maybe the Sex and The City effect? 5 girls going out? « Deja vu »!) It’s busy, you should book guys!
Another time, in London City (« baby »), I went to some nice fashion events meeting nice people. The London Fashion blogger event allowed me to know bloggers and to discover Dirty Martini, an absolutely chic bar where you should bring your best girls and drink Martini like Carrie!
The second time I went there, on a Saturday, I booked and was in Hanover Square too with friends (in front of Vogue House please!).
The music was too commercial after 9 pm and less trendy. It was like they put a 2007 CD like in a Piccadilly bar!
Yes, if you want to really know London, just avoid Piccadilly and « bling bling girls » in commercial bars! Stereotypes, please stop it!
I think it was not the day to come in Dirty Martini. Good drinks and glamour setting anyway.
So many places I want to go in London, I just miss some time! And you, what is your favourite place in Mayfair?
