One year already!
Next week The Cookie’s room has 1 year old! Let’s celebrate!
The Story of…The Cookie’s room, The Cookie’s place
I love Fashion, Music, Lifestyle,
Art…since always! I used to dance in my parents ‘s living room in fancy dress when I was 3 years old. I also made my own drawing collection
when I was 12! I adore reading Woman and Fashion magazine and my heart
still pulsates when I see Elie Saab‘s creations: “princess dress”.
I never forgot my little girl dream:
work in Fashion and Arts but I saw that my dreams
were not realized at all. Time goes by so quickly, it was time to do something.
Last year, after a violent beak-up ,deceptions, suffering and doubts, I realized that I was not in good company. I was not helped, I always have
been underestimated. I should not listen to people so I
tough: is this the life I ever wanted? Absolutely not!
I stopped to see bad people and then I
woke up from a nightmare.
I begin a lot of research and thenI create this blog. I had blogs
when I was younger , nothing really serious, just a link for having fun with my friends but I knew I loved social media and again Fashion.
As well, at the beginning, The Cookie’s room was more for fun
and to see if I were able to do something, I had doubts.
I begin to work more and more on this
blog, to develop a professional project namely polishing my
English to work in the Arts and with Press.
I left my flat, my family, my friends in France to live in England at least 6 months in order to learn English in
intensive course and make an internship in my field.
It was difficult, it is still not easier
every day but now I know that I am able to do a lot of things, that I
am creative and passionate. I won’t drop my dreams.
Moreover, people who really love me are proud of me. I know now there will always be people who try to put me down or to make clichés about Fashion…, maybe
they are scary instead of being happy.
Never mind, my eyes still
shine and I stay hopeful. To be happy, you need to be brave. There is
a lot of obstacles in Life but the real devil is often yourself.
My little “baby” have only one year but I
have more and more readers every day and now some companies are
calling me for collaboration or for a job.
To sum up: I am not perfect, my English
is not perfect too but I know who I am and that I am made for working in Art field, now I am self confident.
I am more than ready to realize my dreams, they will slowly come true.
I will succeed in all I ever wanted
because ” like the Legend of the Phoenix”, I am “harder, better, faster, stronger”,I have
experience of Life.
You can leave comments, ask questions,
I remain available.
Believe in you dreams my friends. “Life is too short to be unhappy.”
Love
Emi

“Hey. Don’t ever let somebody tell
you you can’t do something. Not even me. All right? …You got a
dream. You gotta protect it. People can’t do something themselves,
they wanna tell you you can’t do it. If you want something, go get
it. Period. “

“Like
the legend of the phoenixOur ends were beginningsWhat keeps
the planet spinningThe force from the beginningWe’ve come
too farTo give up who we areSo let’s raise the barAnd our
cups to the stars”
