Where Legends were…again!
The festival’s roots can be traced back to the year 1967, when the visionary Claude Nobs, along with his friend and British music promoter, Vernon Warwick, organized the inaugural edition of what was then called the “1st International Jazz Festival.” If you follow us on YouTube, you know after Nile Rodgers’ conference that Claude Nobs was also Nile’s first manager.

It was absolutely amazing to see live artists like Overmono and legends like Nile Rodgers both in concert with CHIC and in conference.

Over the years, Montreux Jazz Festival has continually evolved and expanded its musical horizons, embracing a wide range of genres, including rock, pop, blues, and even hip hop.
